Wavendon
Business Park
Branding, Editorial
Re-positioning Wavendon Business Park as a contemporary site with historical significance.
Wavendon Business Park is situated on a site once known for it’s World War II codebreaking operations. Notably, Alan Turing cracked the Enigma code here. It’s for this very reason that each of the parks office buildings are named after the ‘Turing Bombe’ codebreaking machines.
Besides the naming conventions, the park had no other obvious callbacks to this momentous period of time - which is why I was asked to tap into their heritage further and refresh their overarching Brand Identity; to help set them apart and attract new business.
I worked on this project during my days as a designer at Intermarketing Agency in Leeds.

The brand mark is made up of five dots. The dots are to echo the formation of an Enigma plugboard, one for each of the five sites at Wavendon.
Wavendon Business Park is comprised of 5 buildings. Each has it’s own identity and colour that sit alongside the overarching parent brand.
For any specific collateral involving one of the buildings, the building name becomes the hero and ‘wavendon’ becomes development positioning.
The colour palette has been inspired by colours from the original Turing Bombe machinery - with slightly adapted hues to give a more refreshed and contemporary feel.
